Even if you have three different distinct colors of appliances from all different eras like I do…The other morning, as I was going around trying to get just a little bit of cleaning done before Kennedy got bored of playing Minecraft, I stumbled upon something that worked really well for polishing up my stainless steel refrigerator.
my beloved 150 year old family dining room furniture deserves a happy home, so here’s how we made that happen, in grey and white so it could play nicely with the living room which is right off of it!.First, let’s start with some “before” pictures from before we moved in, when we were having the house inspected, and some from this first few months we were here too.

I searched through my old laptop and here are some of the pictures I found.. That paint color was really quite something.Kind of a really soft aqua accented by lots of scuff marks. You can’t really see, but it wasn’t really much of a dining room at all for the previous owners.

I guess it’s just one of my (many) quirks, but it gives me great satisfaction to see my new bedding up against this happy new rug instead of the old vinyl flooring.. Of course, I’d be even happier if my nice new rug got to sit on top of some pretty rustic hardwood, but that will come. For now, this happy little setting is just not something I can find anything to complain about.
Especially now that I finally got Chris to move the exercise bike out of the corner and into the basement!.I know some of you might be a little concerned about having a 100% jute rug in the bedroom, so let me just put your mind at ease..
